The reason I don’t do the bad boy routine is ’cause guy’s who play bad boy’s usually end up being jerks, like you said. Girls go after domince usually in a relationship. If the guy is like you described, they go for him because he’s bad, and most likely a sleezeball coward. He is usually assertive in the relation and the girl finds that sexy, kinda like how the alpha male in a pride of lion’s mates with the females. They go for the top dog and he is the top dog. But he just doesn’t screw one chick. He screws this one while screwing that one and drops one when he get’s bored.

Then she runs to the friend and cries for hours and he comforts her. But because he is not assertive, she only sees him as a friend. He, in all sense of reality and sanity, is the PERFECT guy for her. But, to the man’s dismay, she see’s him as a brother of some sort. Even though he would go to the ends of the Earth for her, and give his life for her, she still only see’s him as you said, platonic.

This guy is the one who says “I’m sorry he was a jerk and I wish you the best” when what he really means is “Why do you go for assholes? I’m the right guy for you. Can’t you see it?” But nay, she does not see it because, again as you said, she goes for the hot guy who makes her panties wet. And when she get’s used again it is the same routine. But this time, the guy can’t help but give in to the rage that burns in his heart when she comes to him.

He says he’s sorry but what he means is “If you would go out with me, you wouldn’t be in this situation again.” And he laughs a little at her dismay, even though it pains him greatly to see her in this condition yet again. And yet in the end, he just stops caring and is sorry he cared at all when she marries one of the jerks. And thus is the end of what could have been happiness for both.

It destroy’s the man to here her say that the new guy she just banged is awsome, we’re through but we’re still friends. It completely destroy’s the man. It also destroy’s him to here her say “I can’t go out with you. You are like a brother to me.” Any guy who has heard this will feel my pain. It will kill you to hear this. After hearing that you wish she would have said, “I don’t wanna go out with you because I like being single right now.” That one sucks, but it dosn’t just tear your heart out, it rips your soul out, also.

A girl is a cmplete mystery to me, but I think I have somed up a guy’s point of view on this matter. It is a delicate situation to be the nice guy. I’m in it, yet through all the hardships I face, I carry on and pray she will see that I am the one who will make sure she knows no more sadness in a relationship ever again.
