EMPOWERING ME FOR ALL THE LOSERS I KNOW!!!

I’m so great

And whom don’t know,

Better concentrate,

And learn it, yo!

I’m just a’ight,

You don’t know shit,

Best adjust your sight,

‘Cuz you ain’t it.

Your vision’s skewed,

It’s sad to say,

You’re just a dude,

For me to play!

Kidding ya’ll,

My heart is weak,

A fragile doll,

With future bleak,

I can’t find love,

I’m not that strong,

But God above,

Helps me along.

I need to feel,

That I’m secure,

A love so real,

But all’s a blur.

Wait your turn,

“Love come one day!”,

My heart does yearn,

But I can stay,

All alone,

For a little while,

‘Til I am grown,

And I can smile,

At the Kahlee,

Without a man,

Who’s so happy,

My greatest fan!

Just happened upon your site and loved the poetry. So honest and reflective. I’ll be back… ( God that sounds like The Terminator).

Unique poem. Real. Honest. Unexpected. Worthwhile.

Thank you. Sometimes it just flows out of me:)
    Why unexpected though?

Hi again. To answer your question, I guess it was unexpected because I started “tuning in” to your blog because of the light-hearted and even sometimes naughty (but not tasteless) entries you make (kind of like the 7th Heaven girl thing). Then, I see this and a couple of other more serious things, and it caught me by surprise – a pleasant surprise.

The more serious kind of posts have gotten me to “tune in” a little more frequently. You are showing how well-rounded you are and I feel like I am getting to know the true Kahlee which I find as a nice surprise.
